Mestre Preguiça and Mestre Di Mola
Mestre Preguiça has been a pioneer and influential figure of contemporary Capoeira for 50 years. From the age of 12 until he was graduated to master in 1963, Mestre Preguiça trained under the legendary Mestre Bimba. In 1965, Mestre Preguiça moved to Rio de Janeiro and co-founded Grupo Senzala, which in 20 years gained worldwide renown and became the prominent Capoeira style in Brazil. In 1984 he moved to San Francisco and founded Omulu Capoeira Group. Mestre Preguiça's passion for the art and commitment to helping people improve their lives through Capoeira has affected thousands of students worldwide.

Mestre Di Mola has devoted his life to Capoeira for over 30 years. In 1998, Mestre Di Mola founded Capoeira Guanabara in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. With a distinctive and unique teaching style, Mestre Di Mola strives to improve the quality of Capoeira and educate about the roots of the art. In 2003, Mestre Di Mola began the Sweden chapter of Omulu Capoeira Guanabara, while maintaining the group's chapters in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mestre Di Mola is a highly sought out teacher and conducts remarkable workshops around the world.

Instrutora Cotonete (Nadine Mundo)
Instrutora Cotonete (Nadine Mundo) began training Capoeira with Mestre Preguiça over 14 years ago with 40 other teens. Since then, she has taught youth and adult classes, choreographed numerous performances and directed several Batizados. Cotonete has traveled throughout Brazil and Europe where she participated in rodas and workshops led by legendary Capoeira masters, including renowned Capoeira master, Mestre Di Mola. In 2001, Cotonete directed, Art of Survival, a documentary short exploring how Capoeira has changed the lives of inner-city youth in San Francisco. In 2002, she moved to the big apple and founded the New York chapter of Omulu Capoeira Guanabara. In addition to high quality classes, her group performs at corporate offices, bars, schools and hip lofts throughout the city. One summer they even performed on a boat. In 2006, The Guardian listed her class as the 'Best Martial Arts/Dance Class in New York City'. Cotonete teaches her students to do all sorts of things like kick, escape, flip, sing and clap. Her class is always fun, sometimes challenging, usually packed and never boring!
